The Steering Committee of Chris Goldfinger, Waldo Wakefield, Jessica Hamilton, Cathy Tortorici, and Dave Fox are pleased to announce the Oregon State Seafloor Mapping Workshop will be held in Salem on March 18th and 19th. The workshop will build on the recent Washington Mapping workshop, and present scientific work along the Oregon margin, recent advances in habitat mapping, and a significant focus on planning for the mapping of Oregon’s Territorial Sea, and on mapping efforts as they relate to the Marine Reserves process in Oregon. The announcement will be sent out the week of January 28th to a broad list of potential agency and academic participants.
